The first outfit of this week I wore in Estes Park. I wanted to wear a fall transition outfit to get a coffee with my mom while my boyfriend was doing a job interview.

The Dress is from a new favorite brand of mine called Miaou. It's a French inspired brand known for their wearable corsets and fun patterns. Miaou runs a Depop account where you can get last seasons clothing or some other random pieces for a good price. I loved this dress because it has a built in corset and underwire. It's super flattering. I've been loving Zebra print lately, and I especially like the colors of this zebra print with my dark blonde hair. The zebra print also looks more marbled here so I think it could be interpreted as marble print or zebra print.

I really wanted to keep all the accessories the same color so that the dress could stand out.

The boots I thrifted last fall and I am so glad I got them. For almost a month they sat on the shelf and I contemplated getting them every time I went. They are Kenneth Cole boots, which is a fairly nice brand and they were only $3. My favorite part is the slender square toe. They work really well with short dresses and tucked under jeans.

The Bag I got a few years ago as a present from my family. It's a Mansur Gavriel bag. I found it at a second hand consignment store for nearly 70% off the retail price. It was brand new and in the box, meant to be! I jumped on getting it immediately and I'm so glad I did because its my favorite everyday bag, and it never creases or has any scratches on it.

The Mask and Glasses were something I wanted to include because everyone should be wearing a mask right now to protect themselves and others. It is a crucial accessory to protect others and ensure we can survive this pandemic. Although it's only effective if the majority of the population follows this guideline. I wear my mask everywhere, except for my home and my car. The Glasses are vintage from Goldmine Vintage in Denver.

I love a good casual, everyday outfit. I've been loving those huge claw clips. If you look closely you can see it in the second photo. I got mine at Ulta for cheap! It's an easy way to keep my long hair up and out of my face especially when my hair is still wet.

The Romper is from Are you am I. It's a gorgeous rib knit bodysuit with a square neckline and long sleeves. It is so comfy! I love layering crewnecks over it for a biker short look, or even wearing it under jeans for a bodysuit effect. I paired it with this oversized baby blue button down for an oversized look on top. Most of the time, when I wear long sleeves or a lot of fabric on the top portion of my body, I like to show off my legs. Vice versa, if my legs are mostly covered up, then I'll show off my top. It creates balance in a look when the weather is still nice enough to not be completely covered up.

The button down is actually a vintage piece I took from my mom's closet. It's a gorgeous shade of blue, corduroy fabric, and the perfect oversized shape on me. It's vintage Lands End. Since corduroy was so popular last fall, when I saw it in my mom's closet, I knew I wanted to snag it from her.

The Shoes are my favorite white Common Projects sneakers I talked about last week in my outfits blog. I do wear them probably 3 times a week, if not more, so you will probably see them in a lot of these outfit pictures.

The Sunglasses are from Target. I love to have a few cheap sunglasses to wear. That way if I lose them or break them it's not as heartbreaking as parting with an expensive pair. Target has cute sunglasses sometimes. It seems to depend on the season and the store but when they have pairs I like they're almost always under $15 and I'll get myself one or two to have on hand.

This Dress and outfit is everything!!! I love it so much. If you check out my website portfolio I did a semester long project on both Jacquemus and Ganni (which is what I'm wearing here). After spending months studying and creating my own collection ideas for these brands I wanted to treat myself to something I loved from each of these brands.

The Dress is by Ganni, a Danish contemporary fashion brand. I got this dress during quarantine when some of the big high end retailers were having huge sales and I waited until this baby was 60% off the retail price. Ganni keeps the same cuts of their most popular items each year but the print changes. This print is from last season and I love the olive green as is so versatile. The fabric when being constructed had iridescent thread mixed in with it so when it catches the right light it has a sparkle to it. I understand this dress wouldn't be flattering on everybody, the tent shape often times isn't the most form-fitting, but I love the puffy sleeves and how full the dress is, its so comfy and fun to wear.

The Bag is made by Jacquemus, a French designer who started his brand when he was 19 years old. Now he's one of the most well known designers in the world. It's technically a belt bag, but it never fits on my waist so I just wear it as a crossbody. Me and my boyfriend split the price of this bag up a bit with him paying for the majority of it. Its so small, so I really only wear it when my boyfriend is around so he can carry my keys and phone :). It perfectly holds credit cards and lip gloss.

The Shoes are vintage Prada boots, I desperately need to get the soles glued back on because these are my most worn boots. I love how chunky they are, and they work so well with jeans and dresses. I took inspiration for this whole outfit from Swedish street style, which I'[d describe as easy going, colorful, and loose fitting silhouettes. I love pairing chunky kind-of-boyish looking boots with a girly outfit.

My favorite combination of colors in an outfit is black, and red. I think an all black outfit with a pop of red is so pleasing on the eye, and very eye catching.

The Jacket is a vintage boy scout jacket that I got years ago at Buffalo Exchange before they closed. It's all wool and so cozy in the winter as a layering piece. The buttons are tone on tone and its a go-to when I want a pop of red.

The Top is a stolen tank top from my boyfriend's closet that I DIY'ed into a backless tie top. I cut open a big circle in the back and folded over the seams to create a nice finished look. I then cropped the top and used the already finished hem of the shirt as a tie.

The Pants are my favorite thrifted pants; they look so modern to me but they are from the 90's. They have empowering graffiti text all over them and they have quickly become one of my favorites. They are so unique and I've never seen anything like them.

The Bag is the same bag as my first post, Mansur Gavriel. :) I wrapped the strap around the top flap of the bag so it became a shoulder bag rather than a crossbody bag.

The shoes are the same as the post before.
