Revamping Old Fashion Sketches

To kick off the first week of revamping my old sketches, I picked this drawing titled "Fancy Dinner".

The original (on the right) has an empire waist with three large bows on the bottom of the dress. She is also wearing black pearls and black gloves with big voluminous hair. I would say my old sketch is inspired by old Hollywood red carpet style.

The Revamped Sketch has a corset style bodice with a pointed center to accentuate the hips and give the illusion of a smaller waist. The skirt portion of the dress is ruched fabric sweeping to the left where there is an elongated slit. It is finished with a small black ribbon bow.
