This sketch is one that I always remembered in my sketchbook. It's a simple memory, but I remember sitting in my room when I was 11 years old. I was working on my fashion sketches watching Friends on my tv (a lot of the sketches I didn't revamp relate to characters in friends, I was obsessed with that show), I had this small foldable wooden table that I took from my parents room and set it up under my tv.
My mom always brought me snacks, cookies and milk, chocolate, dinner whatever it was cause I would spend most of my time doing fashion sketches when I was younger. Anyway one night my mom brought cookies and milk, and I had this really cool idea for an M&M dress, and unfortunately my milk spilled all over my sketches from that night which is about 5 or 6 sketches that are wrinkled because of it. I always remeber being so sad that my sketches were "ruined", yet I still added them to my sketchbook. Even though it’s a small memory I vividly remember that to this day. So as one of my last sketch revamps I wanted to re do my "M&M lover" dress.
In the revamped sketch I decided to Make it a two piece and a scalloped edge keeping the shape of the M&M's on all hems for the top and bottom of both the skirt and the shirt. I also tried to shade them in a way that makes them look shiney like m&m's are. This dress reminds me of something Moschino would make especially with the "M' of the m&m could be their font of "M" for Moschino.
