One of the world's most famous fashion designer, a brand everyone knows of whether they are into fashion or not. Founded in Paris in 1854 by Maison Louis Vuitton. The company started by creating pieces for travel. While the brands vision and creative direction has changed to creating small leather good, ready-to-wear clothing, accessories, shoes, and jewelry.

Virgil Abloh is the current creative director of Louis Vuitton while also having his own brand, Off-White. Louis Vuitton is known for their iconic LV monogram. Virgil has created beautiful pieces that are a more a modern rendition of the classic prints we know the brand for.

Paris

Spring/Summer 2021

Look 1 - I love the striped pants on this outfit, they are draped so beautifully. The belt is oversized and hits right on the model's hips. I love the bomber jacket, a piece that I feel like is always in style but people rarely wear it. Louis Vuitton had lots of graphic tees with 90's style prints on them, the jacket covers up the print of this shirt. The shoes look like simple black oxfords, with white soles, which is a match to the black and white striped pants.

Look 2 - I love the bag on this outfit, it doesn't look like a normal LV bag its green crocodile with not a single monogram on it which is surprising. I love the contrast of green and brown in the strap, is the only color in this outfit. The top is a grandpa style top, that's tweed with super exaggerated and oversized shoulder seams. The detailed pocket and and the leather strap that keeps the sleeve folded in place. The pants are a super simple draped trouser, and black shoes are an interesting oversized shape.

Look 3 - I picked this look because I love the sweater vest, printed ones are super popular right now. I feel like this whole outfit is very trendy. While it looks a little goofy, the proportions of the clothes look off on the model. A sweater vest over a button down is super on trend right now. the bag is the same bag as the last look except a more neutral color. The pants are a gold brocade looking material. and the shoes are a clunky Mary Janes strapped shoe.

Look 4 - I love that more designers are making political statements in their clothing, this top is a better example of the 90's inspired text I mentioned in the first look. As well as the same "vote" message Christian Sirrano had when I covered his most recent runway looks in my first runway critique. Voting, especially this year is absolutely crucial and I think its wonderful that designers are adding this into their collections. The rest of the outfit is pretty basic, nothing really stands out to me.

Look 5 - This to me looks like a Billie Eilish inspired look, super oversized and boyish, although still very fashion forward. I love the cropped black top layered over a shirt. While I personally wouldn't wait the shorts with it, it is something I could see myself wearing in some way. The shorts are a colorful basketball short style, with text on it but I can't read what it says and it doesn't look like they are branded. The shoes are an interesting oversized moccasin style shoe with the classic LV monogram on the inside.
