Mara Hoffman started her company after she graduated from Parsons in New York in 2000. The Focus of her brand is sustainability and responsible choices. She wants to keep an open conversation about its approach to sustainability and encourages the consumer to be conscious about their shopping habits and relationship with clothing.

The Spring 2021 Collection embodies the ease and simplicity of Greek Isles, yet grounded in stillness and content in the places we already are.

New York

Spring/Summer 2021

Look 1 - I love the rib knit fabric in this dress, The very deep neckline that can easily fall off of one shoulder gives the dress a sexy silhouette. I love the puffy sleeves and the calf length of the skirt. The dress looks super cozy and super elegant.

Look 2 - I love the color of this outfit and the texture difference between the shirt and the skirt. The belt and the shoes both being black I think work really well with this soft pumpkin color. The Skirt looks like a crepe fabric, the top looks like a horizontal rib knit. I love this puff sleeves on the shirt, very different from the puff sleeves on the first look, these sleeves are puffy by the shoulder and taper to a tight fitting shirt, whereas the first look was more fitted at the shoulder and then got puffier at the bottom of the sleeve.

Look 3 - This rib knit must have been a big theme in her collection for next season. This shirt also resembles how the first dress is worn, off one shoulder. The Coral pants are a great pop of color and really fit the spring/summer season, while rib knit is typically more of a fall/winter textile Mara Hoffman used it a lot in this collection.

Look 4 - Swimsuits is what I've always known Mara Hoffman for, I love the print of this swimsuit, and the high cut on the thighs, I wish I saw this print more on other pieces in the collection. I also love how she didn't have a runway show, instead she took these very cool on location shots of the models in her outfits and presented them in a collage.
