Paul & Joe is a brand started by the young 28 year old, Sophia Haggiag. She likes breaking the norm of high fashion minimalism, grunge and monochromatic by creating dynamic, colorful and high spirited clothing. She loves vintage inspired prints with a fresh new silhouette. The Parisian Designer's ideal consumer is a girl with style that love French chic clothing. Sophia named the brand after her two young sons, but mainly creates for women. Sophia also started a line of beauty in 2002, with the same vibrance of her clothing, bright and playful colors to enhance natural beauty.

I personally have never heard of Paul & Joe, but I saw the collection on WGSN and was obsessed with her sultry and flirty collection. The colors are beautiful, every single outfit is something I would love to wear. I'm not the only one that adores her brand, many celebs, including Kate Moss, Alexa Chung, Kate Bosworth, Vanessa Paradis, Olivia Palermo and Daisy Lowe are all disciples of fashion brand Paul & Joe.

Spring/Summer 2021

Look 1 - This was the first photo In the collection on WGSN and I was instantly obsessed. I love the set of this runway its eclectic and the lighting makes it look like a burlesque show. I love the plunging neckline of this bodysuit and the feathers that accentuate it. The puffy sleeves are a stunning balance to the tight fitting bodysuit and its beautifully gathered to add volume. It's two tones pink, at the waist it changes to a lighter pink color. I'm not sure if these items will be available on her website next year, although I would assume buyers would wear this bodysuit underneath pants or bottoms of some sort.

Look 2 - I love the fit of these jumpsuits. When I first saw this picture, I really liked it and I thought it would be something I would wear. Although the more that I look at it, I personally think it would've been cooler to have a smaller floral print with a gradient that flows all the way through rather than in specific parts of the garment. You can see the gradient is very purposeful, its alone the neckline, the bottom of the sleeves, the right waistline, and the knees, which is a unique idea. I just dont think it works well with a photo realistic oversized rose print. I could picture it working better if there was a smaller floral print that faded out into a solid color in all those same gradient areas.

Look 3 - This dress gives me Dolly Parton vibes. This lace floral print shirt dress with a fully mini skirt is something I could see country music singer, Kacey Musgraves wear. It's playful and sexy with the top having no layer underneath the lace. The bottom reminds me of a classical ballet skirt, that almost sticks straight out at a 90 degree angel. The white lace with small yellow and black details reminds me of an Alice and Olivia print from a couple of years ago.

Look 4 - I love this pajama set look with feathers in the side seam of the pants and at the bottom of the sleeves. In the last year wearing pajamas outside of the bedroom has become super popular. The silk button down and pants seems too nice to just be seen in the bedroom and super comfortable to wear. The pastel color way with peach and baby blue works really well contrasted with each other.

Look 5 - This is a dress is something I could see on the red carpet. The golden pleats glistens in the lighting. The structured oversized sleeves gather together just above elbow, the high leg slit gives the dress drama. This look and the last two looks I reviewed are very pretty, but in my opinion they aren't particularly unique. I feel like i've seen a dress like this before on the red carpet, while it still has unique components, like the sleeves being really structured. The photo below, i'm not sure who the designer is, but the dress is almost identical.
